A row of trees in the Keukenhof Gardens near Amsterdam

The Keukenhof Gardens near Amsterdam are a solid mass of flowers as far as the eye can see and, sadly, also a solid mass of tourists as far as the eye can see. Getting there early is well worth it as the crowds are much less. There were of course tulips by the billion but for me the best thing there was this superb row of mature beech trees.
