Autumn
Keats obviously was not a photographer. If he had been, he would surely have given his camera a mention along with the mists and the mellow fruitfulness. This is the season for which the camera could have been invented. The sun is low in the sky giving good light for much of the day, and the foliage puts on its display for all to admire. Sunrise and sunset are at sensible times of day and the air has a sparkling clarity after the haze of summer has gone.
